Once your probate bond has been placed with us we will notify you between 30-90 days prior to renewal. In many instances probate bonds are issued in terms of years. So, esentially one can purchase a 1, 2, 3, or more year term bond. This will generate a reduced cost for subsequent years. That being said, many probate bonds are issued in one year increments. Regardless of the term of the bond, we will need the closing documents of the probate to exonerate the bond. Otherwise, the surety will continue to bill on the anniversary date of the bond.
